It finished off a great week as we also received confirmation that Kyle has been awarded his Kennel Club Show Certificate of Merit!! So all three litter mates now have this award :o)

Sunday 17th April

An even longer drive this time to the ESSC of Wales Champ Show for the opinon of judge, Angela Mitchell. A better day this one with Kyle 3rd in Graduate, Toash winning Special Beginners Dog and Kaila winning Post Grad Bitch.

Some very nice critiques for our dogs from Nicola Calvert, judge at the SESSS Champ Show.... Kyle: 'Many of the same comments apply and it indeed proved a close decision for these two. Again a lovely headpiece and kind expression. Great depth in body and good spring of rib. Well angulated all through although his markings do a lot to disguise the fact. Well set tail and good movement. Another day.'

And Kaila: 'Attractive bitch from any angle. Lovely head, correct eye. Flowing from back of skull into strong lean neck and on to clean shoulder assembly. Maturing body with ample depth and spring of rib. Plenty of bone and good feet. Nice length of back. Moved out well. Well prepared and handled.'

Sunday 3rd April

Today we travelled down to Crewe for the Lancashire & Cheshire ESSC Champ Show, Judge for the day was George Clark. Not our best show day ever with Kyle finishing 3rd in Graduate Dog, Toash, 4th in Post Grad and Kaila, 4th in Graduate.

Toash, again up with the big boys in Limit was also fourth. Kaila, in the biggest class of the day, was placed third in Post Graduate Bitch.

Monday 28th February

On Saturday we made the long trip down for the SESSS Champ Show under judge, Nicola Calvert (Calvdale). It was a good day for us with Kyle placed second in Post Graduate dog, qualifying him for Crufts at his first opportunity. Toash was up with the big boys for this show, in Limit and finished third - a really good result. Kaila won her class, Graduate Bitch. Some new photos of all three have been added to their galleries.

Tuesday 22nd February

A lovely critique for Kaila from Jenny Miller following her super placing at LKA in December ....

STEVENSONS’ GAOLACHCARA CLIODNA JW ShCM another who caught my attention from across the ring and did not disappoint on going over her. Lovely feminine bitch with super outline and very nicely balanced throughout. Sweet head of correct shape and balance well chiselled with correct stop and fluting. Kind dark hazel eyes of good shape and sweet expression with nice ear set. Presented well with a coat of good texture and enough feathering, covering a body of depth with good sprung ribs. Correct angulations both ends. Nice bone and feet. Super sound mover with lovely sound fore and aft and excellent side stride.
